I ran a mildly altered version of Ed's last Carpet Wars setup at MK this weekend and it was very good! :D

I just altered the droop as i had a little too much weight transfer to the rear.

Been meaning to ask Ed, what was the effect/reason for running the longer wheelbase? Was it to dial out some steering.

Mine was kit and i ran out of time to try altering the washers on the rear.

Cheers

Here's my setup from this weekends NOW race... was suffering quite badly with grip roll at the end of the day, but this was with a WE, so the weights a little different.
Think 7/6 on droop would have helped, and maybe narrowing the car down again a little to get some responsiveness back.

Have to mention the tyres on the sheet are wrong, used Sorex 28's with the JB blue insert.

Cheers
Ed

I'm new to the forum and to tamiya. just built a 416x and i plan on running it 17.5 rubber on carpet. How well should the kit set up work Jaco blues?
