Tamiya : New Lipo chassis?

out there there's a rumor about an original Tamiya factory lipo chassis, attached the prototype chassis picture.

Do you have some news about it? It should availabe on July.

Yes I have also seen this on various websites.

Part number is 42182 so that to me is kind of a clear indication that it will be released.

It was spose to be this month, got in contact with a hobby shop i get my Tamiya stuff from, they are getting it on the 5th of Aug.

Mind if I ask what that shop was?

I have ordered but can't get a date of delivery. And do you know if they are importing through the correct channels? i.e the Hobby Company.

Justo to be sure, Is the new Lipo chassis compatible with the 416WE edition kit too, please?

Don't think so. The rear bulkheads won't line up and the top deck is different.

Sure someone will correct me if I am wrong though!

The chassis comes with a new top deck, might fit.

But it does say it is a conversion kit for the X not 416 in general.

Tamiya have just postponed the release date to the 24th August.

Bummer, needed it asap, big twist my in chassis that i can't get rid of, from a massive hit.
